Boss CE-2/CE-3The Abyss ModI call it "Abyss" because of the added depth I bring to this pedal, you've seen the movie right? Ever played on a Boss CE-1? Most people haven't. In my opinion Boss hit the nail on the head back in the 70's with this pedal and nobody, including Boss, had duplicated that tone since then. A quick ebay search will tell you that you probably don't want to pay the going price for an original CE-1! This modification is my take on duplicating that tone at a fraction of the price! While the mods on my end are completely different between these two pedals, the outcome and tone you get from them is the same when I'm done.
